Refund policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

At The Sangam Silks, we value your trust. We offer a transparent policy for returns and exchanges.

1. UNDERSTANDING OUR PRODUCTS
We sell a wide variety of items including Handloom, Powerloom, Pure, and Semi-Pure fabrics.

  • Handloom/Pure Items: Slight irregularities in weaving and texture are natural characteristics of the manufacturing process and are not defects.

  • Color Disclaimer: We have tried to show true colors as close as possible. However, due to screen differences, returns or exchanges based on minor color variations are NOT accepted.

2. RETURN & EXCHANGE WINDOW
You must initiate a return or exchange request within 2 DAYS (48 Hours) of receiving the delivery.

  • Requests received after this 48-hour window will not be accepted.

3. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURN/EXCHANGE
We accept returns or exchanges ONLY under the following circumstances:

  1. Defective Product: The product has a genuine manufacturing defect (e.g., a tear or severe damage).

  2. Wrong Item: You received a product different from what you ordered.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and unwashed.

  • The product must be in its original packaging with all tags, labels, and the invoice intact.

  • The fold of the saree or suit must be undisturbed.

4. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are NOT eligible for return or exchange:

  • Products returned due to minor color variations.

  • Products returned because the customer "did not like the fabric texture" (please check if the item is Pure or Semi-Pure/Art Silk before buying).

  • Customized items (Fall/Pico applied, Blouse stitched).

  • Clearance Sale items.

5. MANDATORY UNBOXING VIDEO
To process a claim for a damaged or wrong product, an opening video of the package is mandatory.

  • The video must be uncut and show the label and the opening of the package clearly.

  • Without this video proof, we cannot accept claims of damage or missing items.

6. THE PROCESS

  1. Contact Us: Email thesangamsilks@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 6392057468 within 2 days of delivery with your Order ID and Unboxing Video.

  2. Approval: We will review your request. If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup (if serviceable) or ask you to self-ship.

  3. Exchange/Refund:

    • Exchange: We will ship the replacement item after verifying the return.

    • Refund: If a replacement is unavailable, we will refund the amount to your original payment method (Prepaid) or Bank Account (COD) within 5-7 business days of receiving the return.

7. CANCELLATION
Orders can be cancelled only before they are shipped. Once the tracking number is generated, the order cannot be cancelled.
